IHSE’s kvm-tec Scalable Pro Line 5K Took Home the InfoComm Best of Show from AV Technology and Digital Signage
CRANBURY, N.J. — June 26, 2024 — IHSE USA today announced that the company’s kvm-tec Scalable Pro Line 5K was honored with two awards at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas. Following its Best of Show honors at the NAB Show earlier in the year, the kvm-tec Scalable Pro Line 5K has now been honored with InfoComm Best of Show Awards from AV Technology and Digital Signage magazines.

IHSE’s kvm-tec series, KVM-over-IP-based Scalable Pro Line 5K, supports up to 5K60 video and multiviewer capabilities over a 10G network switch. Optimized firmware has made it possible to transmit 4:4:4 color over a typical 10G network switch up to 5120×1440 @60Hz. These extenders uniquely feature the ability to control and manage up to 16 computer sources on a single display via a single keyboard and mouse. By simply moving the mouse inside the gridded cell and clicking, the operator has full control of the source. In addition, up to four Scalable Pro receivers can be network-bonded to allow up to 64 sources across the four displays. Other benefits of the Scalable Pro Line include redundant power, redundant signal ports, and options for audio and RS-232 data transmission. Power input is 12VDC, 3A, and the units can be easily mounted up to four across in a 1RU tray.
