Rohde & Schwarz has partnered with News-Press & Gazette Co. (NPG) to deliver a significant upgrade to its broadcast infrastructure with the THU9evo liquid-cooled, high-power transmitter. This deployment provides enhanced transmission efficiency, improved reliability, and reduced operating costs.
News-Press & Gazette Co. (NPG), a leading television station group, selected the THU9evo to replace aging infrastructure and benefit from the industry-leading technology that Rohde & Schwarz is known for. The THU9evo’s liquid cooling system and advanced design deliver a highly reliable and efficient broadcast solution.

It experiences outdoor temperatures ranging from over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months, to sub-zero temperatures in the winter. Performance has remained rock-solid, providing our viewers with reliable access to news and information even in the most unforgiving weather events.”
